The County Assemblies Forum (CAF) continues to strengthen its footprint by fostering strategic partnerships to enhance Kenya’s devolved governance system.
In March, CAF, led by its Chairperson Hon. Seth Kamanza and Secretary General Hon. Chege Mwaura, paid a courtesy call to the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Kenya. The high-level engagement underscored the Forum’s commitment to building meaningful relationships with international partners to support legislative development at the county level.
The meeting provided a valuable platform to explore mutual interests and potential areas of collaboration between the Embassy and CAF. Discussions focused on opportunities to strengthen institutional capacity, promote knowledge exchange, and support legislative best practices within county assemblies.
This engagement reflects CAF’s broader vision of positioning county assemblies within a global context—leveraging international partnerships to drive innovation, efficiency, and effectiveness in governance.
As Kenya’s devolved units continue to evolve, such collaborations are key to unlocking new perspectives and resources that can enhance service delivery and legislative performance across counties.
The courtesy call marks yet another step in CAF’s ongoing efforts to build bridges that not only benefit its members but also contribute to the overall growth and sustainability of devolution in Kenya.
