From our inception to becoming the unified voice of County Assemblies, our journey has been guided by commitment, collaboration and progress.

Inception

Established under the County Governments Act, 2012 as the umbrella body for all County Assemblies in Kenya.

Official Launch

Officially launched to champion devolution and strengthen the role of County Assemblies across the country.

Capacity Building & Collaboration

Implemented capacity building programmes and fostered partnerships with key stakeholders at national and international levels.

Advocacy & Policy Influence

Strengthened advocacy for supportive policies, adequate resources and effective implementation of devolution.

Expansion & Impact

Expanded programmes to all 47 County Assemblies and deepened impact in governance, oversight and service delivery.

Sustainable Future

Continuing to build a strong, accountable and people-centred devolved governance system for a better Kenya.
